What day is the wedding?
The wedding will be held on Saturday June 6th, 2026 at Manning Park Resort.
What time should I arrive?
The first shuttle to Lightning Lake departs the Manning Park Resort parking lot at 2:15 PM. For other schedule details please see the schedule on the event schedule page.
Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony takes place at the Lightning Lake day use area. A shuttle will be present to move guests to and from the Manning Park Resort to Lightning Lake for the ceremony.
Where should I sit?
Outside assigned seats for the parents of the bride and groom there are no sides at the ceremony, please feel free to sit wherever you wish.
Are there any special rules?
Yes. The wedding and resort are contained within Manning Provincial Park. As such there are some additional rules we must follow.
1. No alcohol is to be consumed on the resort grounds with the exception of within private spaces (rooms, cabins, etc.) and the alcohol served during the reception at the Alpine Room reception hall. Violating this rule will result in a $300 fine per incident.
2. No drones are to be flown within the park. This carries an even heftier fine of $10,000 per incident.
Where is the reception?
Dinner and the receiption will be at the Apline Room, at Manning Park Resort.
What is for dinner?
Dinner will be served buffet style and will include either a beef tenderloin or a herb chicken with a choice of sides. Vegetarian options will be available if you require a vegetarian option please indicate this in your RSVP.
Can I bring a plus one?
Our guest list is final. However, if you would like a +1, please indicate so in your RSVP and we will get back to you if we can accommodate your request.
How do I RSVP?

In order to RSVP you will need a password to access the page, this password should be present on your invitation.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please be sure to RSVP by March 15th, 2026 so we can accurate gauge the number of expected guests.
Will you be serving alcohol?
Yes, there will be drink tickets and a cash bar. Please note: it is against BC Park rules to have open liquor in a public place. Alcohol is only permitted in the reception, around the cabins, chalets, and in lodge rooms.
What if I have a dietary requirement?
Please indicate your dietary requirement on your RSVP.
What should I wear?
Our dress code is casual. Dress comfortably and feel like yourself. We recommend bringing a light layer for the ceremony in case it’s a bit chilly, and an umbrella in case of the rain.
Can I take photos?
We kindly ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony. But, please take photos during the reception and other times!
Where can I find the photos afterward?
A gallery link will be shared after the wedding.
Do you have a gift registry?
We have chosen not to have a gift registry. If you want to get us a gift please bring it to the reception venue. No appliances please, we have no space. If you wish to donate to our honeymoon/renovation fund you can do so via paypal below.
Will children be present?
We request no children under the age of ten be present at the wedding.
